Ameli Dot is Denmark's new shooting star.
She grew up in a small, wooden house with flowers, bees, and trees in the backyard. As a teenager, Ameli began writing songs on her grandmother’s guitar – without anyone knowing. Even though her parents had introduced her to both poetry and music they wished for her to have a stable life – but music is in Ameli’s DNA.
In the spring of 2022, she released her debut single 'Hanging With Myself', which went No. 1 on the Danish airplay chart. Ameli Dot's sound moves fluidly through soul and indie pop, and she writes lyrics filled with humor and depth.
In 2023, she will play her first concerts under her own name, and you can expect the energetic, heartfelt, imperfect, rowdy and fun.
