Østen is both a crafty producer with a unique sound and phenomenal lyricist, constantly finding new ways to bend the English and especially the Danish language into beauty. He is currently working in producer Frederik Thaae’s studio, where he is helping bring some of the most important new albums to life, such as Artigeardit’s ‘LÆNGE LEVE’ and Barselona’s ‘Væbnet Hjerte’. The debut-single from Østen’s own artist project, ‘Regn’, dropped in January 2024 - also co-produced by Frederik Thaae - and more music is under way. Østen is furthermore a part of the first ever class to graduate from the new elite songwriting school, Danish Songwriting Academy.
